We’ve seen amazing band performances here in the United States, but it seems as though there are other countries whose students love to participate in the same activity! Such is the case for the famous Kyoto Tachibana Senior High School Band from Japan! They’ve been winning trophies in their home country for decades, but this year’s routine is one for the ages. They run out during the All Japan Marching Contest and give the audience a performance that they’ll never forget!

According to the band’s website, the group was founded by Hisashi Hiramatsu all the way back in 1961 and has grow ever in popularity, talent and size ever since. Now the group is comprised of 113 members – only a small percentage of which are boys. While the girls make up the majority of the group members, they all work in harmony to create the best band routines imaginable. The instruments, synchronized dance moves and formations come together in a way that makes the Kyoto Tachibana Senior High School Band the team to beat.
