More Than 1 Million People in Kenya Don’t Have Water

While East Africa’s worst drought in decades is devastating parts of Kenya, its hardest-hit state of Mandera has some areas without water. Elvak is one such city with a population of around 100,000, most of whom live without basic necessities. The reservoirs and reserve wells that once fed entire communities in the area have dried up.
