US Coast Guard officers used the services of the USCGC to jump into the sea with Kimball, but their plan was foiled by a predator.
At that moment, the shark passed by, and rescued the team with a weapon.
A shark joined the afternoon water party of the Coast Guard crew in the Pacific Ocean. The crew spotted the animal on board the ship and warned all colleagues of the danger, then started shooting at the shark.
Shooting effectively distracts the animals, and anyone in the water can escape. The Coast Guard also said they never encountered a shark while sailing.
