Two weeks ago, a video appeared on the Internet that showed the quick actions of a person next to a car with a dog inside.

It was so hot that day that the man and woman decided to smash the car window with an ax to save the dog.

The video, posted on YouTube, has received over 7 million views to date. The opinions of Internet commentators were divided – some praised the actions of the man, while others criticized him for smashing the car windows in vain.

Dogs handle heat differently than humans. They cool down quite differently, as they only sweat through their paw pads, and deep breathing lowers their body temperature. That is why they heat up faster at high temperatures.
