Ventriloquism has become the new favorite act for a lot of the “America’s Got Talent” audience. We’re sure everyone remembers the recent, and mind-blowing, performance by Darci Lynne? She wowed the crowd with her singing talents as well as her jokes, and we can’t forget Edna’s love for Simon.
Well, ventriloquism has been featured on AGT’s stages in the past as well, so for anyone that follows the show closely, and has been over the years, will recognize the man and his puppet, in the video below. Terry Fator and his puppet won Season 1 of AGT and Terry has been a fan favorite since.
The audience and judges alike loved what he brought to the stage, and it was so clear that there was nothing stopping Terry from taking home the big prize, at the end of the season, that year. For anyone that isn’t familiar with Terry, he and his Elvis puppet took the episode by storm every single time they showed up and not only for one reason.
Terry is a multi-talented man, so he doesn’t just have a puppet on his arm and a couple of jokes up his sleeves; he is also a marvelous singer. In the video below, Terry starts off this seasonal special with some back and forth banter with his puppet until his friend starts to sing Elvis classic, “Blue Christmas.”
We know it’s not Christmas just yet but here’s showing you one of the finest ventriloquists to perform, and go on to win, “America’s Got Talent.”

And, if this impressed you, and you’re a fan of both Darci Lynne and Teri, then you’d be happy to know that the two performed together on stage as well. Darci Lynne incorporated Teri’s act into one of her performances during her time on the show, and it was impeccable! Don’t forget to watch that if you haven’t already!
In the meantime, watch the performance and don’t forget to like and share this post with family and friends!
