A few years ago, a video appeared online of a king cobra attacking a small child.
Luckily, the snake was spotted by the grandfather, and then the family and child entered the house and escaped the poisonous snake.
The video clip, posted online two years ago, has already become a hit – more than 5 million people have watched it on YouTube alone, and the scene has attracted the attention of many commentators around the world.
The king cobra is the longest venomous snake in the world, measuring between three and five meters in length, and often feeds on other snakes. Its venom is very dangerous for humans – it kills an adult in 15 minutes, and one bite of a poisonous snake can kill even 15 people. This is a shy snake that likes to live near water but avoids people.
