Bruce Ireland, 57, from Carlsbad, California, posted the video on Aug. 8. The caller told Bruce that he heard a noise as he closed the lid of his furniture from the outside.

In this video, we see Bruce taking the lid off the couch, revealing several deadly snakes hidden under the lid, and shocking customers.

Bruce, who has worked in the industry for 45 years, said: “I have been bitten many times by harmless snakes, but luckily they have never been venomous.
