Luis Agares, a 44-year-old professional photographer and videographer, captured that strange moment as he took refuge with his wild claws in a melting iceberg.

On July 20, 2021, Luis photographed his paws from a boat at the entrance to the Uppsala Canal, north of Lake Argentino in Argentina.

The puma can be seen wandering around the melting iceberg as onlookers watched from the safety of their tour boat, Maria, at the Los Glaciares Naitional Park.

“I was on tour as a freelance photographer,” Louis said.
